Honest Abe hit the nail on the head for today, probably the greatest malaise hitting the western world is that mediocrity is the norm.

No longer do we strive for excellence. Near enough is good enough and as we will find out with the rise in China’s and India’s economy, that could be a near fatal error.

These economies, just as Japan’s was following World War Two, are derided for making ”cheapies” and ”imitations” but believe you me, they are intent on excellence for they know excellence will win out.

Do you strive for excellence in your business or are you content to be in the “near enough is good enough” category?

If not,why not?
